The southern border of the property runs along South Sandy Creek, which is a beautiful place to swim, skip stones or take walks along the private creekbank. Among the gardens is a full size pool and umbrella covered sitting areas. Breakfast poolside is beautiful in the summer months, as well as poolside candlelit evenings. Beyond the backyard, just below the southwestern edge of the property, lies Monitor Mills, where renowned salmon and trout fishing is literally footsteps away.  In both fall and winter, the house provides a place of comfort and warmth, with space for entertaining, while there is a small hill for sledding and fields to walk or cross country ski.
