Sandy Creek Farm, in itself, is a
beautiful place to spend time, without ever having to leave. However,
there are also many attractions nearby. Being just 10 minutes from
Henderson Harbor on Lake Ontario, and 10 minutes from the
Salmon River, excellent boating and fishing abounds. Henderson Harbor
is well know for it’s prominent bass, trout, salmon, walleye and perch
fishing, and the Salmon River brings anglers from
all over the Northeast and beyond to fill it’s banks. Historical
Sacketts Harbor is 20 minutes away and offers beautiful scenery and fine
restaurants. The farm is just minutes from the Seaway Trail, which is a
scenic, activity filled route paralleling Lake Ontario and the
Saint Lawrence River. There are
several nearby golf courses, including the Elms and Adams Country Club.
In the winter, ice fishing as well as the attractions of Tug Hill are
available, with its miles of cross country skiing and snow mobile
trails. |
